Most of the reviews said they ran large so I ordered a medium instead of my usual large. Even in medium (8/10) the arms are slim and plenty long (I am 5'7" usual size 10/12 jean, 12 top) and the side panels look nice, it is long in the waist so it comes down well over your hips. It will work well over a t-shirt, under my leather jacket on the bike, and long enough to keep my end covered. Get your regular size if you plan on wearing it with layers underneath and more as a top coat as the arms are also slim fitting like a Junior fit.The fabric is thinner than most men's heavy athletic hoodies but is quite warm, more of a sueded micro-fleece finish to the lining, The hood is large and works well on a chilly,windy day without plastering your hair to your head. I hate to say I have not washed it yet, planning on cold water and low dryer hoping arm length does not shrink... It sits lower on the hips, and doesn't ride up around my waist. The material is soft and comfortable, well stitched and looks very nice on. I would say it runs very true to size of a well made garment, maybe a tiny bit roomy. I was able to wear it with a long sleeve shirt and undershirt under it very comfortably!!! It was also shipped very well and didn't arrive as a wrinkled mess!!! It is well made, there's no threads showing. Also, the zipper is thick and won't break easily. I didn't check the size chart before ordering, so the large(12/14) fit me just a little loose (my shirt size is Large 11/12) so i recommend checking the size chart before. This hoodie arrived in a box and it arrived two days before the estimated delivery day through USPS that's a plus :) I recommend this product for those who are looking for a warm, light and comfortable hoodie. |
